Community Change, Inc. provides a full spectrum of services that can be adapted to meet the needs of youth, adults, and the agencies that serve them. These services are rooted in our pedagogy and delivered to organizational clients, which include nonprofits, institutions of higher education, schools/districts and other government agencies.
Community Change, Inc.’s six services are:
- Youth Programs – We implement meaningful and engaging lessons that engage K–12 and adult learners in project-based explorations based on our models or approaches to integrating academics and interest-based activities to learn about the real world.
- Parent, Family & Community Engagement – We offer a suite of services to help schools and organizations strengthen their connection to families, including virtual and in-person workshops, resource sessions, advisory councils, and special events.
- Staff Development – We provide professional learning opportunities that train educators, teaching artists, social workers, and administrators on how to implement the Community Change Pedagogy. Trainings are offered through workshops, coaching, and our online Training Academy, and can include CTLE credit for New York State educators.
- Curriculum Development – We create courses and curricula guides for K–12 youth and adults based on our approaches to exploring real world themes. Additionally, we offer licenses to Teacher PAI, our A.I.-powered resource that creates up to five lessons at a time based on all nine of our program models.
- Strategic Planning – We provide agency staff and leadership with coaching and planning sessions that support the construction of their strategic plan, build organizational culture and address strategic issues.
- Grant Writing – Our team provides comprehensive grant writing and fund development services, helping agencies pursue government funding opportunities.
Each of these services are flexible and customizable — offered as stand-alone options or bundled into comprehensive programs that address a range of district, school, or agency needs. For example, our Comprehensive Youth Program Services package includes student engagement through afterschool and in-school programming; staff trainings and coaching; parent and family engagement activities; curriculum development using Teacher PAI; special events to showcase youth learning, and action projects to engage the community.
This bundled approach ensures that schools and agencies not only meet academic and social-emotional goals, but also deepen community partnerships and student empowerment.
